ArcGIS 3.3 is a powerful and easy-to-use GIS software designed for users to visualize and analyze their data while providing decision support for many different types of users in a number of complex spatial and nonspatial applications. The ArcGIS Desktop application provides about 25 years worth of functionality so if you’ve been using it this should be no problem. Following main features: * Geostatistical features such as multi-criteria analysis, geostatistics, cartography, and remote sensing data. * Geospatial analysis such as cartography, spatial statistics, and geography. * Statistical techniques such as regression, correlation, classification and clustering. * Modeling techniques such as generalized additive models (GAM), artificial neural networks (ANNs), and fuzzy logic systems (FLSs). ArcGIS Online is a web-based GIS platform developed and maintained by Esri and currently in public beta stage. It is a complimentary piece of software to ArcGIS Desktop 9.3 but the design goals are different. ArcGIS Online is designed to provide a fast, reliable, and easy interface for many users in many different positions. It is not limited to GIS professionals and is quite wide-ranging in its usability. Following main features: * Geocoding functionality for mapping address, phone number, postal code, latitude/longitude data. * Geoprocessing functionality such as geoprocessing (Earth mappng), geocoding (GIS), remote sensing (RS), Web service (WS). ArcGIS Pro can be used by ArcIMS customers for full list of features. ArcGIS Studio is a web-based GIS platform developed and maintained by Esri. It is currently in public beta stage. It provides functionality for community GIS which are not suitable for ArcGIS Desktop users. The ArcGIS API is a web-services software designed to work together with the ArcGIS Desktop software to provide connectivity between the desktop software and business applications, personal computers, mobile devices, and other systems that can accept web-based requests. This means an application running on any of these platforms can query or modify data in ArcGIS Online or on the desktop software through this API. Following main features: * The API will be used to coordinate and automate the workflow of data collection and analysis between Esri and many third-party software applications. ArcGIS Pro is a software solution designed for the enterprise and enterprise environment. It provides an easy-to-use toolset to create customized GIS solutions for multiple users in multiple locations with frequent changes in the spatial configuration of the data. On top of that, it provides tools to manage your data, manage your projects, publish your work, collaborate with others on teams around the world, share your work with partners worldwide, export your project details into Excel spreadsheets or PDF files for team members. eccc085e13
